The Feb. 23 NBA Trade deadline is just around the corner and a number of speculated transactions have not been made. One of the most intriguing trade scenarios thus far is the Carmelo Anthony trade deal involving the Clippers and Cavaliers.

According to Sportsonearth, a three-team trade deal involving the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers is possible even with the cap room restrictions. The only hindrance to this deal would be Carmelo Anthony's no trade clause.

Anthony has been quoted a couple of times that he wants to remain as a Knick. However, if presented with the idea to be in a Los Angeles Clippers team where one of his NBA buddies, Chris Paul, is also playing can change the All-Star forward's mind.

With this trade, the Clippers gets Melo while sending Blake Griffin, Mindaugas Kuzminscas and Luc Mbah a Moute to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs on the other will send Kevin Love and DeAndre Liggins to the New York Knicks.

Though this trade doesn't really make sense for the Knicks given their plan to build around Kristaps Porzingis, having Kevin Love as a potential offseason trade piece will help the New York team rebuild. Also, the only goal of Phil Jackson's Knicks thus far is to seemingly get rid of Carmelo Anthony.

According to Hoopshype, Knicks has offered Melo to both Cavaliers and Clippers but both teams are only offering a number of role players in return. The New York Knicks certainly would want more than role players if it will let go of the All-Star forward.

Recent reports are all leaning towards Carmelo Anthony still being in Knicks uniform after the trade deadline The three-team NBA trade scenario, however, will shake the whole NBA landscape when it happens. Carmelo to the Clippers, Griffin to the Cavaliers and Love heading to New York will probably make a lot of rumbling in the league for years to come.
