The Los Angeles Clippers is reportedly inquiring on the availability of Danilo Gallinari from the Denver Nuggets. The sharp-shooting Italian may just be what the Clippers need to further widen the space for Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan to operate in.

According to ESPN, the Clippers and the Toronto Raptors are currently closely monitoring the availability of Danilo Gallinari via trade. The report also suggests that the Nuggets is already prepared to move their top scorer.

Gallo's impending free-agency may be the primary reason why the Nuggets would even consider moving their top scorer. The 6ft 10 Italian forward may opt out from the $16.1million he is owed next season to test the free agent market.

According to Clipsnation, the Clippers may consider moving Jamal Crawford or Austin Rivers to acquire the services of Gallinari. Crawford, a proven scorer may fill the hole that Gallo will leave behind if moved, but the shooting guard may already be passed his prime.

Rivers, on the other hand, remains to be a streaky scorer. If nuggets will agree to trade their top scorer, some draft picks may be thrown out to sweeten the deal.

Nuggets will be better of if it can persuade a third team to make a three-team trade. The third team may acquire Rivers while the Nuggets will be receiving more assets and draft picks to work with.

As for the Clippers, Gallo has already proven that he has the ability to score in any part of the floor. His length will also be an asset on the offensive end especially since Jordan and Griffin are already manning the middle for the Clippers.

Danilo Gallinari will be an excellent addition for the Clippers especially because of his ability to space-out the floor. A Gallinari Los Angeles Clippers trade will certainly solidify the Clip's position on the top tier of the Western Conference.
