The Golden State Warriors may want to re-consider adding Seth Curry to their roster. The younger Curry can help the Dubs' second unit the way his older brother, Steph, does for the team's starting lineup.

Seth Curry was given a chance to join his All-Star point guard brother Steph Curry during the offseason. However, the younger Curry refused GSW's offer and took his three-point shooting to Dallas.

Speaking with The Vertical Podcast, Seth Curry revealed his reason why he chose not to team up with his brother to form a "real" Splash Brother combo in Dub City. According to Seth, he chose Dallas because it presented the best situation possible for him.

Basketball Insiders believe that a Golden State Warriors trade may not happen. According to the report, the Dubs need not be particularly active going into the trade deadline. But it is also likely that GSW GM Bob Myers will look for opportunities to add depth to a roster that already features a number of All-Stars and role players that could be starters on other teams.

Golden State's lack of depth in the wing position played a part in waiving a 13-year veteran in Anderson Varejao. Though the team has acquired the services of Briante Weber on a 10-day loan, the team may have to find a permanent solution to its problem.

Enter Seth Curry. Though the younger Curry may not fit the bill as an athletic wing player he can certainly help Warrior's second unit in a way that Steph does in the Dubs starting lineup. A second unit comprising Livingston, Seth Curry, Igoudala, West and McGee can certainly hold their ground even against some NBA team's starting lineups.

Seth can also provide more resting time for his All-Star brother as he can certainly shoot the ball. As such, Golden State Warriors trading for Seth Curry may probably be a good idea in the long run.
