MWC 2017: Press Conferences Dates, Time And Expected Devices From Samsung, LG, BlackBerry, HTC, Nokia, LeEco

Mobile World Congress is the biggest mobile event in the mobile industry. The Barcelona, Spain MWC 2017 event will be held on February 27, until March 2, 2017.

Enthusiasts believe that some bigger and innovative devices will hit the tech market. Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, Huawei, BlackBerry or many more tech companies are expected to unveil their best devices.

According to Trusted Reviews, Many tech companies have already confirmed their presence in the MWC 2017event and the press conferences from each of the tech companies are mentioned below-

  • BlackBerry (TCL) press conference: Saturday, February 25 (time TBC)
  • Huawei press conference: Sunday, February 26 (2 pm CET)
  • LG press conference: Sunday, February 26 (12 pm CET)
  • Moto (Lenovo) press conference: Sunday, February 26 (4:30 pm CET)
  • Nokia (HMD) press conference: Sunday, February 26 (4:30 pm CET)
  • Samsung press conference: Sunday, February 26 (7 pm CET)
  • Sony press conference: Monday, February 27 (8:30 am CET)

According to Wired UK, it is reported that MWC 2017 will witness many tech giants will announce their best devices. So, speculations are made on what devices that might appear in the MWC 2017, Barcelona.

LG G6: The LG G6 speculated to sport a new screen technology known as QHD+  with a resolution of 2,840 x 1,440 pixels in a 5.7-inch display with an unusual 2:1 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 821 Quad-core 2350 MHz processor, 6GB RAM coupled with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage options. A dual 16 MP rear cameras with sensor size of 12mm expected to have geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama and HDR support. The secondary camera will also be of 12MP, as per GSM Arena.

Samsung: Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is the device that is speculated to hit the MWC 2017. It is rumored to sport a 9.7-inch screen, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 graphics,  latest Android Nougat operating system, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, microSD slot, USB-C, fast charge, 3.5mm audio and an optional keyboard/cover.

BlackBerry: TCL, who holds the handset manufacturing license for the brand BlackBerry is speculated to announce BlackBerry Mercury Smartphone at MWC 2017. The phone is expected to sport 4.5-inch display having 4:3 aspect ratio, a front-mounted-touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone port, a USB Type-C port as well, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, 3GB of RAM and a powerful 3,400 mAh battery and an onboard storage of 32GB. Few reports claims that it will sport the same camera sensors as seen in the Google Pixel smartphones

HTC: HTC recent launches at the CES event indicates that the company will concentrate on the releases. However, there are speculations that HTC would launch a flagship phone dubbed the HTC 11 at MWC.

Nokia: According to Mirror UK, it is reported that Nokia is all set to reveal its biggest product ever at MWC 2017 - a new tablet with an 18.4-inch screen, powered by Android Nougat - as well as at least one new smartphone.

LeEco: LeEco X10 spotted on GFXBench website with detailed specification and features are expected to arrive in MWC 2017. The phone is speculated to sport a 5.5-inch QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) display, two dual camera setups for both the Smartphone's front and rear in which the rear dual-camera setup will feature two 12-megapixel sensors with 4K video recording capability while the front dual-camera setup will have two 15-megapixel sensors and 2K video recording.

Under the hood, the phone is speculated to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core CPU, Adreno 530; two possible RAM either a 4GB or 6GB and two storage configurations at either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
