One of the World's largest tech giant Microsoft is delaying its upcoming feature for windows 10, the new My People feature, which is intended to make it easier for sharing.

Windows 10's My People feature is one of the most hyped and anticipated feature for the Windows 10 creators update, but Microsoft has decided to delay its release until the next major update.

The My People feature allows users to quickly access their favorite contacts in windows 10 right from the taskbar and interact with them easily.

For example, if the user wants to share a photo from the Microsoft photos app then he can simply do that by dragging and dropping that picture to that contact in the taskbar.

The My People feature would also allow users to easily start a new chat with contacts via Skype right from the taskbar. It will be a nice return to the people-centric user experience from windows.

As per the Digital Trends, its filtering tool will be provided to ensure that information overload is kept to a minimum. My People is quite a huge feature as it introduces new abilities which are not possible in the Universal Windows Platform as of yet.

My People feature works with email, Skype, and SMS. Skype for Business and Xbox Live will arrive next. The feature will also be extensible by partner and third-party app integrations.

As stated in Thurrott, Microsoft's Dona Sarkar said that "we are excited to bring your people to the front and center of your computing experience in Windows with this feature."

Dona Sarkar added that Microsoft's goal is to deliver experiences that user will love and we have made the decision to hold this feature till the next major update to Windows.

The next major update to Windows 10 is the "Redstone 3" update. As Microsoft is going to release the Creators Update in April, it is likely to wait for several months until the My People is ready.
