ZTE ZMAX Pro Confirmed To Receive Android 7.0 Nougat Beta Program Soon

ZTE, the Chinese tech giant is bringing Android 7.0 Nougat beta program to a flagship. ZMAX Pro, the recently introduced flagship from ZTE will soon receive the beta program of Nougat as the company plans to test new versions of software for their smartphones.

Software Enhancement Program from ZTE has reportedly added the newly arrived flagship ZTE ZMAX Pro to the list of compatible phones that can participate. The ZTE ZMAX Pro owners have a chance to register to the Google Forum, if interested to check out the beta program testing of Android 7.0 Nougat update. It is reported that the after the beta testing of the Android 7.0 Nougat id ended, ZTE will roll out the final stable version of the Google's newly introduced OS i.e. Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to Android Authority, the beta program of Android 7.0 Nougat can be attained by applying through ZTE's Google Forum. It is reported that the ZTE ZMAX Pro user's who are willing to get the beta program should pay attention to the important details during the sign-up.

The user should be a Z-community member in order to be considered for the program and also the registration asks for Z-community username and email address during the process. This isn't likely to deter any owners of the phone, but it is something to make note of, although users who weren't aware would notice once opened the Google Form to apply.

But it is not specified whether the Z-Community member should be a member for a certain length of time before ZTE would invite user to be a beta tester. So, one could assume that since it isn't mentioned it likely isn't a factor in the process.

According to Android Headlines, ZTE ZMAX Pro follows the other flagship ZTE Axon 7 in the ZTE's Software Enhancement Program. The program was added in early December 2016 and it is reported that Axon 7 flagship is on track to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update as the company announced the software update in CES 2017.
