Enthusiasts wait for Nintendo Switch is over as Nintendo has officially announced it gaming console in a live-streamed presentation. The Nintendo Switch is available for pre-order in a limited quantity in New York City.

Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima has announced the online services of Nintendo Switch unit. However, there were only points on the online services announced and it's quite amazing for the online gaming enthusiasts.

According to Engadget, Kimishima unveiled the online services of Nintendo Switch and the services are a lot like Sony and Microsoft's multiplayer services. However, the service announced by Nintendo president is good, but the bad part of online multiplayer services is a monthly fee and there are no announcements yet on fee details.

It is reported that Nintendo Online Services will allow players set play appointments, chat with friends and play games online. The interesting part, however, is he described all of that being done on a "smart device," not on the Nintendo Switch

According to CNET, Nintendo Switch will cost $299.99 and £279.99 in the UK. Considering the online services, Nintendo announced that online gaming services will be free for a trial period after the console is released, but will become a subscription service fall 2017.

It is also reported that the unit will come with a Switch console, two Joy-Con joysticks, two Joy-Con wrist straps, a Joy-Con Grip, the Nintendo Switch Dock, an HDMI cable and an AC adapter. The other items such as the Nintendo Pro controller will be sold separately for $70 and additional Joy-Con controllers are reported to be sold for $80.

The games that will accompany in the Nintendo Switch are a Splatoon 2, which will launch in summer 2017. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be a launch title. Super Mario Odyssey will release during the holiday season of 2017. Also, Mario Kart Deluxe will come with it.

It is also reported that 80 third party games are in development, which includes Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2, and Project Octopath Traveler, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, FIFA, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors.
