GoPro Inc. is all set to relaunch its Karma drone within this year. The company has made all the testing with respect to its previous complaints. The CEO of the company revealed the real reason that caused a problem in the drone's battery and explained that it can actually be fixed with a piece of tape.

Soon after the launch of GoPro Karma drone, the customers underwent problems with the drones and many complaints were raised on the same. The Company decided to recall all the karma drones just after 16 days of its launch in November 2016.

It is reported that the GoPro recalled around 2,500 remote-controlled aircraft came after the Karma drone experienced power loss in a small number of instances due to a mechanical issue related to securing the drone's battery.

According to Tech Crunch, the CEO of the company, Nick Woodman, took over the stage at the recently held 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week and stated every detailed that brought problems to the company. According to Woodman, the problem with the battery was a minor issue and can be resolved with a piece of tape.

Stating the actual reason, Woodman said that problem was only due to battery basically popping out a few millimeters and causing a power failure in the drone. "If we have a mechanical issue where the battery backs out, if you came out with a way to keep that battery from backing out a couple millimeters, you'll be fine," Woodman said.

It is also reported that the recalling of Karma Drone brought down the company's aim for success in the drone market and affected the stock prices as well. The company was forced to restructure itself, which resulted in 15 percent of their workforce to be laid off.

Woodman also said that the GoPro Inc. has future plans to bring new products and the current one is to re-launch of the Karma Drone within this year and more details of the relaunch will be given in February.
