HTC 11: New Leaks Reveal Next Flagship Called E66; Official Unveiling Predicted Jan. 12

HTC 11 is the most awaited flagship from the company. Enthusiasts are eagerly having an eye on the new releases of smartphones. The upcoming special event of HTC on January 12, 2017, is the day in which the most awaited flagship HTC 11 is expected to be launched.

According to PC Advisor, it was earlier expected that the company would launch the HTC 11 smartphone, an upgraded model over HTC 10 in the press conference of HTC at MWC 2016. Later, rumors suggested the launch will be on February 26, 2017. 

Considering the recent leaks @LlabTooFeR, it is tweeted that the company will launch new Android phones including the HTC Alpine (aka HTC U Play), HTC Ocean Note (aka HTC U Ultra) and HTC E66 (aka HTC One X10) on 12 January. Based on this tweet, HTC 11 is likely to be seen in this event and moreover 'HTC Ocean' was believed to be the codename for the next flagship HTC.

Also, recent leaks which surfaced online revealed that the HTC 11 will be called the "E66". HTC 11 is speculated to have the below-mentioned specifications and features,

Display: The screen is expected to be a 5.5in 1440x2560 panel. This is larger than the 5.2in screen on the HTC 10.

Processor: HTC 11 is expected to be incorporated with Qualcomm's best available mobile chip for its next flagship. It will be the 10nm Snapdragon 835 with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.

The Snapdragon 835 processor has 25 percent faster graphics rendering and half the power consumption compared the Snapdragon 801. It's also got 20 percent extra performances when compared to the 820.

RAM and Storage: Also, reported that the HTC 11 is rumored to have a processor coupled with either 4GB or 8GB RAM and storage options could include 32GB, 64GB and up to 256GB.

Camera and Battery: Rumors suggests that HTC 11 will have a same 12MP main camera at the back and an 8MP camera in the front. Also, a battery is expected to be upgraded from 3,000mAh to 3,700mAh.
