Hull City A.F.C 's midfielder Robert Snodgrass is ready to hit the field again following an injury.

The Scottish footballer had a dislocated kneecap in his third game for the team against Queen's Park Rangers in a Premiere League match in Aug. 2014. In his interview with BBC Radio Humberside, Snodgrass said that that it was tough, but he was smiling and fighting.

Snodgrass added that he had been in the physiotherapist's room more than the dressing room; however, he was having fun with the training while facing the challenges as they were laid ahead of him and ticking the boxes.

Snodgrass also said that he had been thinking about the date when he would return. While he had not mentioned a date, he was set to return in Hull City's match against Bristol City, which is slated on Nov. 21, according to Football League World. As per the publication, the upcoming match was assumed to be a tough game.

For the midfielder, it would be like starting over again. While a long-term injury could affect a player physically and psychologically, Snodgrass' statement indicates that he was confident that he would be back with the team under their manager Steve Bruce soon.

Moving forward, Snodgrass also admitted that he had worked closely with the professionals to identify a strength program that would have been appropriate for his current condition.

Meanwhile, Hull City was set to have a match against Birmingham at KC Stadium on Oct. 24. Meanwhile, Queen's Park also faced Annan Athletic at Galabank, Annan, Dumfries and Galloway on Oct. 17.
