What They're Saying

San Jose Earthquakes manager Dominic Kinnear (via MLS): "Everybody knows everybody. Changing formations, go three at the back...I don't think we're going to go [that route]. We're going to keep it similar. You always want to try to have guys in the position where they're the most comfortable. To have somebody play out of position in these types of games would be a bit of a mistake. You want guys to get minutes, you want them to get chances for confidence, but also you want to keep them hungry."

America midfielder Rubens Sambueza (via Vavel): "We're always going to give our best. We're a team that's hungry for glory and we want to achieve great things. We hope the fans will keep supporting us like they always have and that they have faith in us."

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: Sambueza remains America's most integral creative force. In nine matches last season, the 31-year-old created a club-best 32 chances.
