The final day of the 2015 John Deere Classic came to a close on Sunday, with Jordan Spieth claiming his fourth win of the season.

The 21-year-old defeated Tom Gillis on the second hole of a playoff. Zach Johnson and Danny Lee tied for third, while Chris Stroud and two others rounded out the top seven. Below is a recap of the final day's events (via CBS Sports).

What They're Saying

Jordan Spieth: "It feels great. The memories that we have here. To go back in a playoff and we were reliving some of the conversations. Not the best start, but certainly OK with the outcome."

Spieth needed a 33 on the back nine to just to tie Gillis. The 46-year-old would eventually top his second shot of the playoff hole into the water, costing him the victory. Carrying the momentum into the British Open, Spieth has now won more money on the PGA Tour in the last three months than Gillis has won in his entire career-a career that spans 22 years.
