New York City FC head coach Jason Kreis (via MLS): "Sometimes you just need to have guys work extremely hard for each other, and that's what the guys did [against Montreal]. I'm really pleased with the effort, and hopefully we'll be able to move forward."
Toronto FC head coach Greg Vanney: "[This] week we have to tighten up as a unit, we have to be better collectively and get better performances out of that collective action. We made too many errors and got punished for it. But going into [this] week, it's a new game. A different game. We'll go in to try to take all three points."
