What They're Saying

Jamaica head coach Winfried Schafer (via Nacion): "In the Copa America, Uruguay's Edinson Cavani said Jamaica was from Africa, but after what we showed there and with this performance against Costa Rica, everyone knows how we play and where we're from. My players are growing and I expect more from them in the games to come."

Canada head coach Benito Floro (via Veracruzanos): "We defended well [against El Salvador]. I think Canada deserved more. We had three clear chances, but I think the point is good for us. They have shown me they can play good football and that's good. There's plenty of time before we have to face Costa Rica. First, is Jamaica."

Player to Watch: Darren Mattocks had a clear opportunity to lift Jamaica past Costa Rica, but failed to do so in the dying minutes of the team's 2-2 draw. In seven starts with the Vancouver Whitecaps, the 24-year-old has three goals and one assist.
