After a brief offseason, Real Madrid returned to the training ground, but it was the arrivals of Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas that churned the rumor mill on Thursday. It is uncertain whether the duo will continue to be a part of Los Blancos, carrying with them the future of Manchester United as well.

Below is all the latest transfer updates surrounding the club.

Sergio Ramos

According to Marca, Ramos will sit down for talks with Rafa Benitez in an attempt to iron out any differences between the player and club. Per the report, Madrid is keen on allowing the newly appointed manager have a man-to-man chat with the center-back.

Long linked with a move to Manchester United, an opening bid of £28.3 million was rejected (via Daily Mail) and manager Louis van Gaal believes a transfer will cost upward of £35 million.

Iker Casillas

The Iker Casillas domino will finally fall.

According to a club sponsor, bwin, (via ESPN FC), the long-time goalkeeper will bid farewell to Real Madrid on Friday. Reports in Spain, however, claim his proposed move to FC Porto is in jeopardy.

Both Marca and AS report the agreement between Real and Casillas is falling apart due to financial reasons. Casillas wants the club to pay part of his wages in pre-tax deductions and not in net. Real have no interest in doing so in order to save money.

David De Gea

Not even Danilo could escape the shadow of David De Gea.

Roughly 600 people turned out for right-back's unveiling at the Santiago Bernabeu, but according to the Mirror, a large amount of the fans in attendance chanted De Gea's name instead. The United goalkeeper is still subject to a £35 million transfer fee Madrid refuse to meet.
