Magic Johnson was one of the best and most unique players that the NBA has ever seen. He ran the Showtime Lakers throughout the 1980s, won multiple NBA titles and MVP awards, and could do things on the court like fans have not seen before or since.
Historic Turnaround Possible For Knicks Next Season?
Since hanging up his basketball shoes, Magic has been a fixture on television in NBA coverage, and he has remained a popular public personality. Occasionally, he uses the platform available to him to try and sway the public on important issues, and he is already at it once again regarding the 2016 presidential election, according to TMZ.
Johnson is known to be a Democrat, and he has already spoken out in favor of Hillary Clinton for next year's presidential race, making him the first of (probably) many celebrities that will back a candidate as the campaign process wears on.

Johnson has previously supported Clinton for the White House, as he was behind her during her 2007 bid to become the first female president.
Johnson sent out a series of tweets following Clinton's announcement, making it clear that he will be in her corner throught the race.
