Credit Geraldo Rivera for doing something to Terrell Owens that no one else seemed capable of doing: making Owens stay quiet.

Owens has told People Magazine about his "Celebrity Apprentice" experience so far, with emphasis on the bulldog reporter and the two "Real Housewives" cast members Kenya Moore and Brandi Glanville.

According to People, Owens considers himself a contender to win the "Celebrity Apprentice" and considers Rivera as the biggest threat to his path. People reported that Owens called Rivera his "nemesis."

"I wouldn't say it's a Napoleon Complex, but ... it's almost like he was trying to demand respect for who he is and what he's done when that's not the name of the game," the former NFL star, 41, said of Rivera, to People.

Owens, known for his bravado and on-field antics in the NFL, said he intends to let Rivera be the one to alienate himself from his co-workers in Donald Trump's boardroom.

"You think that I'm lying low," Owens says, "but that's my personality away from the football field. A lot of my football persona has misguided people."

Of his Real Housewives competitors, Owens says they, too, could be the cause of their own dismissals by Donald Trump.

"They're very snippy, they're catty," he told People. "That's the nature of women, especially when you're trying to incorporate business, because women have felt for a long time that they're only looked at as housewives."

"They want to be seen just like men, as leaders and people that can be the head of anything. They already have that chip on their shoulder on top of (the competition) - it's a recipe for disaster."

It's hard to imagine Owens laying low throughout the "Celebrity Apprentice." He recently lobbied for a return to the NFL, telling TMZ that he was ready to replace injured wide receiver Brandon Marshall with the Chicago Bears.

Over the weekend, Owens again was on TMZ, talking about the prospects of Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston as he pursues and NFL career.

The former wide receiver told TMZ Sports he thinks Winston's can make it as a professional ... "if he keeps his nose clean."

"He can learn a thing or two from Johnny Manziel ... not to make those mistakes," Owens said.
