Nebraska star running back Ameer Abdullah is expected to be 100 percent for the Cornhuskers' game on November 15 against the Wisconsin Badgers.

Coach Bo Pelini made the announcement during the Big Ten teleconference Tuesday and said that he wasn't going to let Abdullah return to the field before he believe the was 100 percent. Abdullah suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee Saturday during the first quarter of Nebraska's 35-14 win over Purdue.

Abdullah is the best player on the Cornhusker offense and was in the running for the Heisman Trophy earlier in the season. Abdullah has rushed for 1,250 yards and 17 touchdowns on 186 carried this season and has added 186 yards and two touchdowns on his 13 catches this season.

No. 15 Nebraska is on a bye this week and will return to action November 15 against the Badgers. By the time that November 15 rolls around, Bo Pelini expects to have his feature back and his best offensive player in Abdullah. Nebraska finds themselves at 8-1 (4-1 Big Ten) and as the heavy favorites to represent the Western Division in the Big Ten Championship Game.
