Andrew Wiggins has finally made his voice heard when it comes to his impending trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wiggins spoke about the potential trade and was ever the professional when it came to speaking about the future.

Wiggins spoke at a promotional event at his former grade school in Toronto and told the dozen reporters and nine television cameras that the decision is out of his hands, but he is looking forward to the challenge.

"Whatever happens is out of my control," he said. "I'm not worrying about it right now."

"There's more eyes on me, more criticizing, stuff like that," he said.

Wiggins used his experiences at Kansas as an example of his ability to handle the media and the spotlight. The former Jayhawk said that he lives for moments like these.

"Going to Kansas University kind of prepares you for moments like this," he said, "because at Kansas they treat the basketball players like rock stars."

Wiggins wouldn't address former head coach Bill Self’s comments about Wiggins preferring to be traded to the Timberwolves, but he did echo his message that he will play for any team that wants him.

"Anywhere, any team," he said. "I can play anywhere.”

Wiggins, along with Anthony Bennett and a 2015 first-round pick, are expected to be traded to the Timberwolves for All-Star forward Kevin Love. The trade cannot be official until August 23 due to Wiggins signing his rookie contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
