DIAMONDBACKS vs GIANTS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Home Opener Coverage from San Francisco

Today at 4:15 p.m. ET, the Arizona Diamondbacks (2-7) and San Francisco Giants (5-2) take the field against each other for the Giants home opener live from AT&T Park in San Francisco for the first of a three-game set. The game can be live streamed for free here. Arizona fans can hear all of the action on Arizona Sports 98.7 while San Francisco fans can do the same on KNBR 680.

The Diamondbacks have won just two of their first nine games and are coming off of a losing series against the Colorado Rockies while the Giants recently took two of three from the Los Angeles Dodgers and play the Diamondbacks after taking three of four from them in Arizona last week.

Tim Hudson takes the hill for the Giants after going 8-7 last season with the Atlanta Braves along with a 3.97 ERA. He won his first start this season -against the D-Backs -- after tossing 7.2 shutout innings. He'll be opposed by Trevor Cahill, who is 0-2 thus far this season with a 6.30 ERA.

Cahill is looking for answers as he's walked seven batters in 10 innings and has struggled thus far.

"I wish I had better command right now," Cahill said via MLB.com. "It's weird, because in Spring Training, I felt like my mechanics were better. I was throwing strikes, I didn't really walk guys, but I was getting hit around. Maybe because I was getting hit around, I figured I needed to be a little more fine. Maybe that's why I started walking guys again."

The Giants went 42-40 at home last season and will be looking to play better this season in San Francisco.

"We're really excited to get home," right fielder Hunter Pence who is 4-for-29 (.138) thus far this season and hit his first homer Sunday, said per MLB.com.

Giants outfielder Angel Pagan is on a seven-game hitting streak and has knocked in at least one run in the last five games.

This is the fourth time this season the Diamondbacks will be stuck with Opening Day ceremonies after they opened the season in Australia, had their own home opener and were part of the Colorado Rockies home opener this past weekend.

"It disrupts your routine a little bit, just because you've got to do all the on-field stuff, everything is a little earlier and there's more media, but that's part of it," second baseman Aaron Hill (10-for-36, .278 average) told MLB.com. "Once that first pitch is thrown, it's no different than any other game."

The Giants kick off their first home game this season when they host the Diamondbacks this afternoon live from AT&T Park in San Francisco.
