Darren Sproles wife rips Saints for considering trade, lying to her husband? Michel warns Who Dat Nation of shady front office, wants to unleash Compton Curse Out? [VIDEO]

Darren Sproles has been a crucial member of the New Orleans Saints for the past three seasons as a receiving threat out of the backfield, occasional rusher, and dynamic return man. However his contributions are now too expensive as the team just signed safety Jairus Byrd and aims to retain tight end Jimmy Graham. They will be parting ways with Sproles, which has his wife Michel fighting mad.

Darren Sproles opens up about desire to be released?

On Instagram Michel ripped the organization for mistreating her husband, and said she wishes she could give New Orleans brass a "Compton Curse Out." She proceeded to then upload photos of Sproles as a San Diego Charger, where he spent the first five seasons of his career. In San Diego he was primarily a kick and punt returner, not getting an opportunity to flourish out of the backfield until reaching the Bayou.

The real reason Michel exploded was that she claimed Saints executives told Sproles he'd be released, only to turn around and not waive him and seek a trade. Sproles has been vocal about preferring a release so that he can seek his own landing spot.

Lance Moore released by New Orleans?

"I want to get released. I don't want to be traded," Sproles told ESPN. "I don't know where they would send me because I have no control over it and I want to be able to pick. The good thing is none of the teams I'm told they're talking to are terrible. It's more than two. I feel I should have more of an idea later on today."

The Saints will likely miss his production. In his three campaigns as a Saint he averaged 5.3 catches per game for 45 yards, as well as 24 yards per game on the ground. He scored 21 touchdowns in his Saints career, 16 of which came via the pass.
