Sergio Aguero Going To Real Madrid? Aguero Manchester City Future Still Uncertain

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero wants to make his future with the Etihad certain as he demanded the club to meet him in June. Speculations that Aguero is disappointed on losing his starting position to Gabriel Jesus and that the Club is looking to unload Aguero have been making its rounds recently.

According to BBC, Sergio Aguero's future with Manchester City became glimmer when the Argentinian striker lost his starting position to 19-year old Gabriel Jesus. Though the football club's manager, Pep Guardiola, stated that he wants to keep Aguero, the Argentinian revealed that the club has not approached him to discuss its plans.

Sergio Aguero has scored four goals in two games after regaining his starting post. Aguero took the starting role after Gabriel Jesus suffered a metatarsal injury.

The Argentinian striker scored twice during the recent 5-1 win against Huddersfield. The two goals put Sergio Aguero's total goals this season to 22. The standout performance of Aguero is described by Guardiola as the striker's best performance of the season.

The recent superb showing of Aguero only shows that he still has a lot of play in him and can be a great offensive weapon if placed in the proper system and given the minutes to play. According to ESPN FC, Real Madrid is interested in bringing Aguero back to La Liga this summer.

Sergio Aguero has just recently signed a contract extension with Manchester City. The new contract extended Aguero's Manchester City tenure until 2020. But this does not mean he will be wearing the Etihad jersey for that long.

Guardiola recently said that Aguero is an important element of the team and that he does now want to let the Argentinian striker go. The manager, however, said that it will be up to Sergio Aguero if he decides to stay or not.

Aguero, on the other hand, said that the team has not discussed with him about his future. Either way, the Sergio Aguero Manchester City drama may find its conclusion in June.
