Triple H made his return to television three weeks ago when he instructed Samoa Joe to destroy Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw. According to the latest WWE rumors, Triple H might be forming a new monstrous stable with Joe and Universal Champion Kevin Owens.
"The Destroyer" revealed in an interview this past Monday on Raw that Triple H hired him to do his dirty work. He also noted that he owes "The Game" so much for signing him to a contract at NXT, as recapped by WWE.com.
The Triple H-Samoa Joe partnership has a lot of potential since but it looks like the WWE is forming a much better stable. According to Comicbook.com, Triple H could be building a new monstrous heel stable with Joe and KO.
It should be noted that Triple H pulled Owens aside on this week's Raw before the "Festival of Friendship" segment with Chris Jericho. The Universal champion was looking adamant during their talk that the fans did not hear.
During the segment, Owens finally turned on Jericho and attacked his former best friend. The beating was so bad that "Y2J" was rushed to the nearest hospital for evaluation. Some people believe that Triple H instructed Owens to attack Jericho.
For those who might have missed it, Triple H helped KO win the Universal championship back in August last year. The 14-time WWE world champion turned on Rollins and it has not been explained until now. Fans will surely get answers from Owens next week on Raw.
As for Joe, he is slated to have a short feud with Sami Zayn. He attacked Zayn this past Monday on Raw and they are expected to face each other at the Fastlane pay-per-view on March 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
However, all of these are just WWE rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. The WWE could change their plans since Rollins' status for WrestleMania 33 is still unclear. The reported backup plan is a Triple H vs. Samoa Joe match, per The Wrestling Observer.
