Lenovo might be planning to arrive with Yoga 720 convertible notebook at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) by the end of this month. The successor of Lenovo Yoga 710 series is leaked online with few of the specifications and features that are likely to be on the device.
According to Notebook Italia report, the upcoming Lenovo Yoga 720 will have two variants- 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch variants. The Yoga 710 series were available in different sizes starting from 11-inch to 15-inch and were seen launched at the MWC 2016. So, based on the previous launch, it is highly predicted that Lenovo will launch the new Yoga 720 device at the MWC 2017.
Also, it is reported that Lenovo Yoga will arrive in in three colors: Platinum Silver, Iron Gray and Rose Gold (for smallest only). The design of the new Yoga 720 is believed to be similar to its predecessor.
Based on the leaked images, Lenovo Yoga 720 features a thinner form factor and ultra-thin bezels and the device is equipped with a fingerprint reader on the palm rest, which will be useful to start safely the operating system and protect users data.
The 13.3-inch laptop can support up to the seventh-generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor coupled with 8 or 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB or 512GB SSD. On the other hand, the 15.6-inch model will be able to support the Kaby Lake-based Intel Core i7-700HQ chipset coupled with the same size of RAM and storage. The top end variant will also come with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics processing unit (GPU) with 2 GB of dedicated video random-access memory (VRAM).
According to Trusted Reviews, Lenovo Yoga 720 is expected to feature two 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectors, Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C connector and up to four USB ports, a backlit keyboard, the Windows 10 Home operating system and premium sound quality via JBL and Dolby Audio Premium. Price and release of the Lenovo Yoga 720 device are not yet unveiled and is likely to be presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
