Navy Yard Shootings: Nationals/Braves Game Postponed Due To Police Activity Following Slayings In Washington, D.C.

In the wake of Monday's shootings in Washington, D.C. that led to the death of 13 people at the nearby Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters in close proximity to Nationals Park, the team has announced the postponement of Monday night's game with the NL East rival Atlanta Braves. The game will be made up with a day-night double header Tuesday with Game 1 slated at 1:05 p.m. ET and Game 2 scheduled for 7:05.
