Jailed NFL Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson has lost his will to live and has began a hunger strike he hopes will end his life, according to RadarOnline.

The 66-year-old former Buffalo Bills pheno "is done," an insider told Radar, adding that Simpson is rapidly losing weight and "scaring the hell out of his few remaining friends".

The source told radar "he just won't eat, and you can tell by his voice that he just wants to die. That's exactly what is going to happen to him unless some good news drops out of the sky to cheer him up and give him a reason to live; however, that doesn't seem likely."

Simpson also reportedly recently told a"they ain't ever going to let me out of here: I'm not going to eat, and I won't let docs at the prison revive me in any way. I will fight it. I used to live my way, and now, I'm going to die my way."

Radar adds doctors recently told Simpson he could be suffering from brain cancer, and even that did cause much of a reaction from the man once celebrated as "The Juice."

"I don't care if I have the disease," Simpson reportedly said. "I'm dying anyway. "I'm not letting any more doctors probe my head. My life is already over."

Simpson has been jailed in Nevada since 2008 on a kidnapping and robbery conviction. He was infamously acquitted in 1994 in the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ron Goldman.
