Aaron Rodgers is already facing gay slurs on the football field after rumors spread this link he was once romantically linked to a former personal assistant.

Though Rodgers has since refuted the claims of one-time roomate Kevin Lanflisi, HollywoodLife.com reports the floodgates remain open.

"Some jokes in the locker room so far have been brutal with some saying stuff like, 'No wonder he plays for the Packers' among other derogatory statements," a source tells HollywoodLife.

With Green Bay set to host longtime rival San Francisco in the NFL playoffs on Sunday, the hits figure to keep on coming.

"The NFL is littered with so much awful trash talk that the San Francisco defense will be on Aaron's case all game with comments about his sexual preference," the source told HollywoodLife."The players are a--holes on the field and will use anything they can to gain an advantage and Aaron is prepared for it."

Earlier this week, Rodgers took to the airwaves to address the issue during an ESPN radio interview with Jason Wilde.
