According to The Independent, here are the start times for the following events in the London Marathon 2025. All are set in UK time.
- Elite Wheelchairs: 08:50 BST
- Elite Women: 09:05 BST
- Elite Men and Mass Start: 09:35 BST
Expect to experience sunnier weather and warm highs of 21°C. For runners who will finish later during the day, it will be a potentially rough challenge.
London Marathon 2025 Route Map
For runners participating in this international marathon, you will start at Greenwich Park and then conclude your run on The Mall. You will see the iconic Buckingham Palace before you cross the finish line.
The route is mostly flat so you don't have to worry about elevations. Still, the weather will be an issue. You will witness the London landmarks such as Big Ben and Tower Bridge as you run.
Is Eliud Kipchoge Joining the Race?
According to the BBC, a £98,000 (roughly $130,000) prize is on offer to anyone who breaks a world record in the men's or women's category, so this year's event is more competitive than ever.
