AJ Styles Shares Retirement Plans
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on the latter's "Insight" podcast, Styles shared his thoughts on retirement and when he plans to hang his boots.
He admits that he's thought about retirement a lot.
"I've thought about it a lot, much more than I should have," he said on the podcast, according to Sports Illustrated. "I should have known what I was doing by now. But it's so hard because you enjoy it so much and I enjoy being around my friends."
When asked about his previous statement about not wanting to wrestle in his 50s, Styles confirmed that this is still the case.
"That's correct. I keep saying that," he said. "I've said this and said this, but I will not wrestle at 50, I promise you that."
