Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr. said how much he enjoys Milwaukee but also expressed frustration because burglars targeted his home when he was in the game and recorded an incident.
What's worse, his most valued possessions were also taken away while he was also away from home.
Milwaukee Will Be Portis' First Love in the NBA
TMZ learns that Portis took to social media to express his love for Milwaukee, the first city in his 10-year NBA career where he truly feels at home. His commitment is not only to basketball; the 29-year-old forward has made a massive impact in the community through food drives and youth engagement events, all in the quest to uplift the city he calls home.

Caught on Camera: Burglars Target Portis' Home
Although he dearly cares for the city, home security footage caught how two intruders attempted to break into his house when he was on the court Saturday night.
Video shows that these two intruders have heavy jackets and ski masks, along with flashlights, while attempting to tamper with his front door lock. The NBA player has been trying to reach out to members of the public to make contact with the suspects. His appeal is that he wishes to be rewarded for ideas that lead to the restitution of his property.
"This is a place I've considered home," Portis told ESPN. "While I was at my game yesterday, I had a home invasion, and they took most of my prized possessions."
Reaction to the Incident and Game in Action
Portis appeared in a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he emerged with 10 points plus eight rebounds, though losing 114-113 was a close call. Having sustained the shock, Portis is still determined to finish his work in the community.
This is an incident that reminds us how even committed athletes, such as making a difference in society, are not safe from committing crimes. Hopefully, his appeal to the public will help bring justice to this case.
