Coming into this season, Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes was already at the front of the pack for the NFL's MVP award; however, Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson has rocketed his status to a favorite, sitting atop the oddsmakers' leaderboards, especially having ESPN BET place him at +275.

Jackson might, therefore, become the youngest player in the NFL's history, winning three consecutive MVP titles after he took the first and last one.

Even with all his success, Jackson gives the impression that he concentrates only on team success.

"I'm chasing something right now," Jackson said after the game. "Every game, I'm trying to win."

His performance on the field has led the Ravens to their fifth straight win, putting them at 5-2 with the season. The Ravens trailed Baltimore 10-0 in the first quarter. Still, Jackson later steered six consecutive scoring drives and this eventually resulted in 34 unanswered points, which included a 49-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman and a crucial 4-yard touchdown on fourth down to tight end Mark Andrews.

The Ravens offense hasn't been stopped in more than five weeks. It's topped 27 points in five consecutive games, the longest active streak in the NFL.

Jackson is singular in the way he contributes: for the third time in his career, he threw five touchdown passes and had at least 50 rushing yards, an NFL record.

Teammates and Coaches Praise Jackson's Impact

His teammates and coaches sing similar praises about the way he just keeps getting better and better.

"He's just one-of-one," Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton said. "It's almost scary to see him getting better at this point."

Even Ravens coach John Harbaugh believes Jackson will leave a lasting mark on "Monday Night Football," where Jackson now is tabbed with a record 20 touchdown passes without an interception on Monday night broadcasts.

It is go time for the Ravens with Jackson at the controls. This season, he's no longer satisfied with just another MVP - it's a Super Bowl or bust affair for Jackson.
