Simon Biles path to the Paris games was difficult, having reportedly been suffering from a shoulder problem and had taken a break from training to concentrate on her mental and physical well-being.

Earlier reports claimed that she had injured her shoulder and taken some time away from training to look after herself both mentally and physically. But coming back victoriously to France, where she even clinched another gold medal at the vault finals, there are speculations if she will still go ahead with this game or not.

As one of the most successful Olympians, Biles carried the Olympic flag during the Paris closing ceremony as the Olympics transition to Los Angeles 2028.

Is Simon Biles Done With the Olympics?

Simone Biles could be back for the 2028 Olympics after winning in Paris.

The history-making gymnast has shocked her fans and critics by saying she may enter the 2028 competition in Los Angeles. This follows a remarkable performance at the 2024 competition in Paris, during which she took home her tenth Olympic medal.

At only 27, Biles has already surpassed the expectations of many people who participate in this game when they are young. She became the oldest American gymnast at the Olympics for 72 years when she went to Paris.

When asked if she would compete in Los Angeles, Biles replied in a report from NBCNews, “Never say never. The next Olympics is at home, so you just never know, but I am getting really old.”

One reason that influences Simone Biles’ thinking process is because it will be held on US soil. It signifies a rare chance for American athletes to compete before a home crowd since Atlanta’s 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

As we eagerly await the decision of Biles, fans, and the gymnastic community, one clear thing is Simone Biles has already carved out a place for herself in Olympic history regardless of her participation in 2028.
