Lakers: Bronny James Out of NBA Summer League Game With Knee Issue

Los Angeles Lakers rookie combo guard Bronny James is dealing with his first injury as a professional player.

The 19-year-old has some trace swelling in his left knee, according to team insider Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet.

Due to this, James will be sidelined for the Lakers' next game in the California Classic NBA Summer League against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, July 7, at the Chase Center in San Franciso, California.

The California Classic, hosted by the Warriors and Sacramento Kings, is one of the three NBA Summer League tournaments this year, aside from the Salt Lake City Summer League hosted by the Jazz and the flagship Las Vegas Summer League, the official summer league of the NBA.
