The United States men's basketball team has arrived in Las Vegas to begin preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which are scheduled from July 26 to August 11.
Several American NBA stars attended the four-day Team USA camp, but it was Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard who attracted particular attention.
The two-time NBA Finals MVP was seen sporting a compression sleeve on his right leg and appeared to walk awkwardly as he entered the facility.
Leonard has an extensive injury history, especially with his right leg. A sore right knee caused him to miss the final eight games of the 2023-24 NBA regular season and play in only two of the Clippers' games during the 2024 NBA playoffs.
The six-time NBA All-Star's right knee also sustained a torn ACL in 2021 and a torn meniscus in 2023.
