Cameron Brink will not see WNBA action for a long time, but she does not feel gloomy as she has her boyfriend to support her.

The Los Angeles Sparks rookie let her fans take a peek at her road to recovery a week after getting diagnosed with an ACL injury.

Brink posted a picture of herself with her athlete boyfriend, Ben Felter, and their dog.

"So much change, yet so much joy," she said in the caption.

Felter and Brink have been dating since 2021, when they met at Stanford University. The former is on the men's rowing team, while the latter plays for the women's basketball team.

Brink's social media post was a welcome sight for her fans.

She had a promising rookie season, averaging 7.5 points per game and 5.3 rebounds a night.

All this came to an end on June 18 when she slipped during a non-contact play in the first quarter of the game against the Connecticut Sun.

She was diagnosed with an ACL injury and was shut down for the whole season.

"You never think it will happen to you," Brink wrote on Instagram after learning about the extent of her injury.

"And despite all the hard work sometimes it does. This is hard to fathom but I know it will only make me stronger. I will not be derailed and I will continue to love this life- I'm not defined by basketball, but it is something that I love deeply and I will work everyday to get back to it."
