Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen appears happy with his latest career move after signing with the team in free agency last March.

The 24-year-old subtly dissed his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, while discussing his decision to move to Pittsburgh.

"It's a better atmosphere here for me. Everybody is cool, the people are cool, the players are cool and the food spots are better," the former LSU player told The Athletic

Queen spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Ravens after the team selected him with the 28th overall pick in 2020.

"I am a big food guy. I love food. I am more of a true food guy rather than a seafood guy. I like meat and stuff like that. It's just a better atmosphere for me here," he added about his first few months in Pittsburgh.

Queen is coming off a sensational 2023 season as he entered free agency. He recorded 84 solo tackles, 49 assists, 3.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, and one interception in 17 games en route to Pro Bowl and Second-Team All-Pro selections.

He then signed a three-year deal with the Steelers worth $41 million, which pays an average of $13.66 million per season.

"Some of them were offering some $17 [million per year]. After that it was like, I have a chance to either go win or I have a chance to get paid. For me, the difference was like $4 [million] or $5 million," Queen shared.
