Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been the main focal point of his team, which has now reached the 2024 NBA Finals after sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

While the 26-year-old has had some occasional off-nights in the postseason, overall, he has performed well, and the team's superior talent is unmatched by anyone in the Eastern Conference.

Tatum led the Celtics in points, rebounds, and assists in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, joining several NBA legends while the team reached the championship round.

Only four other players, including Nikola Jokic with the Denver Nuggets in 2023, achieved this feat.

Tatum finished with an impressive stat line of 26 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, and one steal as the Celtics narrowly edged out the Pacers in Game 4 of their series, winning 105-102 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Monday, May 28.

Several NBA legends previously accomplished what Jayson Tatum did

LeBron James also accomplished this feat consecutively from 2012 to 2015, with the first two years with the Miami Heat and the next two with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Tim Duncan, with the San Antonio Spurs in 2003, and Jason Kidd, with the New Jersey Nets in 2002, also did it.

Duncan, James (2012 and 2013), and Jokic won the NBA championship during those years, while Kidd and James (2014 and 2015) did not attain the ultimate prize.
