The Las Vegas Raiders will significantly reward one of their veteran players for the next two seasons.

Veteran defensive end Maxx Crosby will reportedly receive a pay bump worth $7.2 million over the next two seasons in Las Vegas.

The 26-year-old will see his salary increase by $6 million for the 2024 season and an additional $1.2 million for the 2025 season, according to league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Crosby's contract was not extended for another year, so this is solely a pay raise. His current deal with the Raiders runs until the end of the 2026 season.

Prior to the pay bump, the former Eastern Michigan player was scheduled to earn approximately $19.38 million in 2024 and $21.92 million in 2025, including base salary and bonuses, according to numbers by Spotrac.

Raiders reward Maxx Crosby for leadership and contributions to culture

Crosby has been with the team since their last season in Oakland in 2019 when the franchise selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 106th pick.

The Raiders reportedly wanted to reward their leader and culture setter to keep him in Las Vegas for many years to come, according to Schefter.

Crosby has emerged as one of the best pass rushers in the league, earning Pro Bowl selections in the past three seasons and Second Team All-Pro honors in 2021 and 2023.
