The Premier League title race will be concluded by the last week, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

Arsenal trail Manchester City by just two points in the table, and they have an advantage in terms of the goal difference.

They need to win their match with Everton and hope City will lose or only manage a draw against West Ham United.

Arsenal's hopes received a little bump on Thursday as unsavory Manchester City team news revealed that main goalkeeper Ederson will be out for the team's final match week, which will take place at the Etihad Stadium.

"Manchester City can confirm that Ederson will miss the final two games of the season due to a small fracture of his eye socket," the club announced on its website.

"The Brazilian goalkeeper suffered the injury during our 2-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening. He has since undergone scans of the affected area that have revealed a small fracture to the right eye socket."

Manager Pep Guardiola said Ederson's condition is not that bad. No concussion was detected, but the 30-year-old Brazilian "could not see properly, so the doctor said I should change him."

Coming in his place is Stefan Ortega, who has played just eight Premier League matches so far this season, including the win against Tottenham Hotspur last week.

Ederson has been sensational in Manchester City's push for another Premier League title this season, conceding just one goal in their last five matches.

Manchester City Team news so far

Right now, only Ederson is confirmed out for the important match against the Hammers.

Kevin de Bruyne's status remains day-to-day, though.

The Belgian midfielder was relieved late during the win against Tottenham after getting tackled by an opponent. Before that, he set up Erling Haaland for the match's first goal in the 51st minute.

Manchester City's projected XI against West Ham so far:

Ortega; Walker, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol; Rodri, Kovacic; Silva, Foden, Doku; Haaland

David Moyes promises to go all out vs City

Tottenham failed to slow down City last week, and West Ham United manager David Moyes believes it will be as hard for his club.

Moyes, who announced his departure from the club last week, promised that they would make it difficult for the defending champions.

"It would be difficult to stop their Under-14s winning the title," he said jokingly.

"Professional is the word I would use. We will try and do the best we can."

Given their struggle lately, it will be hard to imagine how the Hammers will contain City.

Before their home win against Luton, they conceded 14 goals in four matches.

The Hammers have also had little luck against City in their last five head-to-head matches, as the latter won all but one game.

Gunners supporters can only hope that their London rivals will give it their all to give Moyes a great send-off before he leaves.

They must also take care of their own business first, as their match with Everton will kick off at the same time as Man City's last assignment on Saturday.
