NFL legend Tom Brady, widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time, agreed to be the subject of a roast during Netflix's comedy special titled "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady" as part of the "Netflix Is A Joke Festival."
The event was held live and broadcast on the streaming platform from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, May 5.
Despite being a good sport throughout the evening, comedian Jeff Ross's joke about Patriots owner Robert Kraft may have slightly irked the quarterback.
"So Tom became a Patriot and moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft's office and said, 'I'm the best decision your organization has ever made. Would you like a massage?'" the "Roastmaster General" joked in front of the audience.
Brady quickly approached the podium to whisper something into Ross's ear, but the live microphone caught his words.
"Never say that s**t again," the 46-year-old told Ross.
Robert Kraft's massage controversy
Kraft became embroiled in a significant controversy when he was recorded by police paying for sex acts at a spa in South Florida in January 2019.
The police were investigating the particular massage parlor for possible prostitution.
Prosecutors eventually dropped misdemeanor solicitation charges against Kraft after the warrant allowing the installation of hidden cameras inside the parlor didn't protect the privacy of innocent customers.
