The Golden State Warriors have much to contemplate regarding their future, having been eliminated from contention in the 2024 NBA Playoffs after a devastating 118-94 loss in the play-in tournament game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, April 16, at the Golden 1 Center.

In an uncertain offseason, the team may consider parting ways with some of its longtime stars, including Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Warriors star Stephen Curry reflected on this potential outcome, especially with Thompson hitting free agency this summer.

"I can never see myself not with those two guys. I understand this league changes and there's so many things that go into it and I'm not gonna play forever. We've experienced so much together," the 2022 NBA Finals MVP said during the post-game press conference.

The two-time NBA MVP also expressed his unwavering desire to win.

"End of the day, I know they want to win and I want to win. That's all I'm worried about," the 35-year-old added.

Warriors Big 3 is one of the greatest trios ever

If this marks the end, the trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green are undoubtedly among the greatest in NBA history.

Their remarkable twelve full seasons together are virtually unheard of in the modern NBA landscape, which is characterized by constant player movement.

During this span, they achieved remarkable milestones, including four NBA championships, breaking the record for most regular-season wins with 73 in the 2015-16 season, and clinching a total of 420 wins together.
