The 25-year-old also contributed six rebounds, five assists, and five steals, making for an incredible evening on the court while coming off the bench.
Despite the unexpected offensive outburst from the 6-foot-1 playmaker, the Pistons still lost 121-113.

Malachi Flynn's career-high surpasses several stars and Hall of Famers
Flynn's career-high performance now exceeds the highest single-game point totals of numerous present-day NBA stars and some Hall of Famers.
This includes Los Angeles Clippers forwards Kawhi Leonard (45) and Paul George (48), Oklahoma City Thunder guard and MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (44), and Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul (43).
It also surpasses the highest single-game point totals of Hall of Fame point guards Magic Johnson (46), Steve Nash (42), and Jason Kidd (43).
