Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is among those in awe of Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark's skills, which have been dazzling all season long.

The NBA MVP candidate praised the NCAA's all-time leading scorer, comparing her to an NBA legend and stating that one aspect of her game is better than his.

"That's a woman Steph Curry. She can shoot it better than me," Doncic remarked to reporters during the team's morning shootaround on Tuesday, April 2.

Curry is widely regarded as the greatest three-point shooter in basketball history. He holds the record for most threes made in the NBA in both the regular season and the playoffs.

Doncic and the Mavericks will face Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, on Tuesday evening in a crucial Western Conference matchup that will have huge implications for both teams' standings.

Luka Doncic watched the LSU vs Iowa game

The 25-year-old was able to watch some parts of the first half of the highly-anticipated clash between the defending national champions LSU Tigers and Iowa in a rematch of last year's championship game, this time happening in the Elite Eight last Monday, April 1.

Clark was sensational in that game, scoring 41 points on 13-of-29 shooting from the field and 9-of-20 from beyond the arc.

The 22-year-old phenom also contributed seven rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, and a block in 40 minutes of action as they took a 94-87 win.
