Is the Red Bull Racing dynasty slipping away? Are we going to see a collapse in a dominant team again? Similar to McLaren of the earlier 2000s and Mercedes most recently, legendary driver Lewis Hamilton has seen this happen before. Star Red Bull driver Max Verstappen may follow in the same steps as Hamilton in leaving the Red Bull team at its supposed peak.

Red Bull drivers Verstappen and Sergio Perez are pleased with the current car but are hesitant to claim that they are as dominant as last season. Perez in interviews has been vocal that there are some issues with the car, as does Verstappen at times when driving; and we all know Red Bull head engineer Adrian Newey is never satisfied.

From the drivers recap on Thursday ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton stated that it seems that the RB20 may also have some trouble in front end tire management; which will be interesting to note in the upcoming Grand Prix and the following races.

Ferrari had breaking difficulties and Mercedes had some overheating issues that pushed both teams' premier drivers further away from Red Bull. Red Bull have shown some cracks in their armor and Bahrain's track best suited their car, so future races in this long 2024 season will be interesting as the gap could get smaller and smaller down the line.

Qualifying was very close in Bahrain, therefore street circuits will be interesting and could possibly give a better chance to other teams like Ferrari in snatching wins from Red Bull, who seem to be not as dominant as last year but still hold a great race pace.
