To be clear, Travis Kelce is not using Taylor Swift to get more clout. He is a star on his own.

The Kansas City Chiefs star's plan to become an A-list celebrity has been on the table since the early 2010s, long before the singer entered the picture.

He has achieved a lot on the gridiron, but he is even more popular outside of it.

His girlfriend, Taylor Swift, coming into his life is a bonus as his agents revealed that there is already a plan for him to get as big as The Rock.

Kelce has his clothing line. His podcast with his brother Jonathan is among the most listened to on Spotify. Just recently, he served as host of Saturday Night Live.

The pieces are moving forward for him to become a Hollywood star.

Kelce's business managers, twin brothers Aaron and André Eanes, revealed in a New York Times sit-down that they have been on a grind to make Kelce's transition into a Hollywood celebrity smooth.

Their inspiration is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who is regarded as one of the most successful athlete-turned-actors in history.

Although the 34-year-old still has good NFL years left, the plan is already in motion.

The Wrap reported that a reality show centered on his public and private life could be in the works. The report stated that White Lotus producer David Bernard flew to Kansas City to follow Kelce's games.

The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance just happened to boost the plans set out by the Eanes brothers, but he is already there.

The question now is which athlete-turned-actor they can copy from? Was there an NFL player who can be compared to The Rock's success?

Here are three former athletes who were good at what they do in their prime years and were able to translate it in front of the camera.

1. Jim Brown (NFL)

The late Jim Brown is regarded as one of the best NFL players ever. He won his lone NFL title in 1964 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the only team he played for.

Although his professional American football career was short (only nine years), and even if he only had one Super Bowl, his achievements are almost incomparable.

He won the regular season MVP three times, made it to First Team All-Pro eight times, and nine Pro-Bowl nine times.

He is an eight-time rushing yards leader and a five-time rushing touchdowns leader. He is part of the NFL 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, and NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

In terms of acting chops, he has everything, too. He was regarded as the Black Superman or Black John Wayne.

He had his first lead role in 1968 through "The Split" and was part of the first interracial love scene on the screen when he starred alongside Raquel Welch and Burt Reynolds in "100 Rifles." He became one of the highest-paid black actors in this movie.

He also starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987's The Running Man.

2. Arnold Schwarzenegger (bodybuilding)

Long before he became known as The Terminator, Schwarzenegger dominated the field of bodybuilding.

He competed professionally in bodybuilding, winning the Mr. Europe contest in 1965. He also boasts Mr. Universe wins (4 - NABBA [England], 1 - IFBB [USA]), and seven Mr. Olympia wins.

These achievements translated well in Hollywood, and shortly after, he ventured into acting.

He became a prominent action star. A few of his high-profile filmography are the "Terminator" series, "Conan the Barbarian," "Commando," "The Running Man," "Predator," "Total Recall," "True Lies," and "Kindergarten Cop."

3. Dwayne Johnson (WWE)

Dwayne Johnson is the undisputed athlete-turned-actor right now. He is currently worth $800 million, most of which came after he retired from professional wrestling.

He won the WWE Championship 8 times, the WCW Championship twice, and the WWF Intercontinental Championship two times.

He became a crowd drawer in his heydays, starring opposite Stone Cold. Their rivalry is considered one of, if not the greatest, in wrestling history.

He starred in "The Mummy Returns" as a supporting actor. His first lead role was The Scorpion King. He never looked back since then.

The Rock now produces and even gets to choose what movies he wants to star in because of his command as a marketable star.
