WWE icon The Undertaker has expressed a straightforward opinion on the management style of his former rival Triple H, who currently serves as the chief content officer and creative head for the company.

Discussing the topic on his podcast, "Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway," which is available on YouTube, the four-time WWE Champion noted that the backstage atmosphere is unusually calm compared to his own experiences during his time in the promotion.

"[Triple H] is doing it calmly. So I'm not around, obviously, like I used to be. When I was working full-time, or even when I wasn't working full-time. It was just so chaotic," the 58-year-old said.

Following the finalization of TKO Group Holdings' acquisition of WWE in late 2023, Triple H has assumed a prominent role behind the scenes, overseeing 99.9% of the creative direction of the programming moving forward.

This shift aligns with the directive of Endeavor Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel, and former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon does not have a say in the creative input.

Triple H runs the WWE 'calmly'

The Undertaker observed a calm atmosphere backstage, noting that both the crew and the talents are relatively young individuals. From top to bottom, the environment is characterized by the presence of young people.

"They're all so chill. I've seen Triple H get worked up, but I haven't seen him yell at Talent. I haven't seen him bad mouth anybody. There's been times where you come back through the curtain and you know that ass-chewing is coming. I haven't seen that with him," The Undertaker added.

Despite the laid-back atmosphere backstage, The Undertaker admitted to feeling a bit uneasy about the excessive calmness, expressing a personal perspective that it might be misunderstood as a lack of care for work.

However, he clarified that it's not the case and attributed the calm atmosphere to the overall environment rather than a lack of commitment from the wrestlers.

The Undertaker and Triple H's on-screen rivalry

The Undertaker and Triple H had a fierce rivalry throughout their professional wrestling careers, engaging in three notable showdowns at WrestleMania.

These encounters took place in 2001 (X-Seven) and consecutively in 2011 (XXVII) and 2012 (XXVIII). In each of these instances, The Deadman emerged victorious, contributing to his renowned WrestleMania winning streak.

The Undertaker and Triple H's friendship

Despite their intense battles inside the squared circle, The Undertaker and Triple H are recognized as close friends outside of the ring.

Reports indicate that Triple H has often sought advice and guidance from The Undertaker, showcasing the strong camaraderie between them.

One iconic moment between the two was in WrestleMabia XXVIII (28) during their final match, which was a brutal Hell In A Cell contest with Shawn Michaels serving as a special guest referee. The three embraced each other at the end of the match in an emotional moment.
