The Reds will continue to never walk alone in the coming season, but they will be without Jurgen Klopp moving forward as the German manager announced his departure from the club by the end of the season.
The 56-year-old has a simple reason for his resignation.
"It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now," he said.
"I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again."
While the shocking announcement is sad, his almost nine years with the team are filled with moments that will go down as among the finest in Liverpool FC's history.
He will walk away as Reds coach with a 60.7 winning record (so far) and 13 awards from different award-giving bodies for his coaching expertise, including Premier League Manager of the Season (2020, 2022) and World Soccer Awards World Manager of the Year 2019.
He also led the team to a Premier League win in the 2019-2020 season, their first since 1990. He also helped them win the Champions League in 2019 (with two runners-up finishes), one FA Cup and League Cup, and more.

Liverpool still has a chance to add to that this season as they are at the top of the Premier League table and very much in it in the Champions League.
Many Reds supporters feel sad that he is leaving the club, but the legacy he will leave thwarts all those unpleasant emotions.
These are Jurgen Klopp's best moments as Liverpool manager:
1. Signing Mohamed Salah
Klopp deserves a lot of credit for Liverpool's turnaround after his arrival. One major decision that led to such a turnaround was the signing of Mohamed Salah from Liverpool in 2017.
The manager called the Egyptian star's signing as a sign of their commitment to winning.
"We want world-class talent to see they have a home at Anfield where they can fulfill all their professional dreams and ambitions - we are working hard together to achieve this."
After more than half a decade, Salah, Klopp, and Liverpool have multiple team and individual trophies in their names.
2. 7-0 win over Manchester United
Manchester United was historically the best team in the Premier League before they became a laughing stock in the past three seasons.
Any win against them is meant to be celebrated. The celebration is on another level if it is a 7-0 win against the Red Devils.
The Reds showed high-octane football to dominate their visitors in the game week of March 2023.
Klopp called it a "freak" result and a "once in a lifetime" moment.
3. Fun press conference moments
The Liverpool manager is known as one of the most charismatic managers who is always ready to accommodate reporters after the matches.
One funny moment from him was when he called a translator's voice "erotic."
4. Compassion during Covid outbreak
He is charismatic, and he is also compassionate. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, leading to the suspension of games, Klopp was among the first to speak out in support of banning live games.
"Of course, we don't want to play in front of an empty stadium, and we don't want games or competitions suspended, but if doing so helps one individual stay healthy - just one - we do it no questions asked.
"If it's a choice between football and the good of the wider society, it's no contest. Really, it isn't."
5. Champions League win over Tottenham
The greatest football glory in European club football is a Champions League win. Liverpool got theirs under Klopp in 2018-2019 against Tottenham Hotspur.
The victory brought the Reds their sixth UCL trophy. Only Real Madrid and AC Milan have more than them.
"This is maybe the best night of my life professionally," he said minutes after clinching the victory at the Metropolitano Stadium.
