Heading into Semifinals week of Fantasy Football, here are some NFL start em sit em fantasy sleeper picks of Week 16.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Quarterback

Start: Los Angeles Rams Matthew Stafford

Stafford has been a sneaky good start as of later in the NFL season. He has totaled over 22 points in three of his last four games. And two of his best games came against highly regarded defenses, the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. In this final stretch of the season, Stafford will be looking to get his team to the playoffs throughout the remaining three games.

Sit: New Orleans Derek Carr

Both of our start em sit em QBs come in for the Week 16 Thursday Night Football Matchup. Carr has been extremely underwhelming in his first season with New Orleans. Although Carr has just come off one of his better games this season against the New York Giants; I wouldn't trust him just yet, especially during the Fantasy Football Playoffs.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Running Back

Start: Buffalo Bills James Cook

This is a no brainer after last week. Since Week 9 Cook has been steadily getting more and more looks in the Bills offense, both as a rusher and pass catcher. With the Bills finding their run game late in the season, James Cook becomes a solid RB2 or even after the last couple weeks a RB1.

Sit: Pittsburgh Steelers Najiee Harris

Harris has been better during the middle of the season but it looks like now he hit a bit of a wall. Najee failed to score ten points in the past three weeks. He does burst for some physical runs here and there but fantasy football wise he hasn't provided much production. We suggest starting another RB this week especially being that the Steelers still don't know who will be playing quarterback Saturday.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Wide Receiver

Start: Cleveland Browns Amari Cooper

As it took a little time for Joe Flacco to brush off the rust, he seems to be getting more and more comfortable in the Cleveland offense. Through the last three weeks, Cooper's fantasy numbers have been rising with Flacco under center. The Browns WR1 becomes a pretty good FLEX option heading into this week's matchup against the Houston Texans.

Sit: Carolina Panthers Adam Thielen

Thielen had a very good start to the season, quickly becoming rookie Bryce Young's favorite target. But he has since fallen from the grace of being a late round steal. Only scoring over ten points once in the last four games makes him a bit of a liability going up against the Green Bay Packers Defense this week.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Tight End

Start: Cleveland Browns David Njoku

What can we say, Joe Flacco's got the Browns offense moving. Njoku tallied back to back 25+ point games and looks like Flacco's favorite pass catching target.

Sit: Houston Texans Dalton Schultz

Schultz made his return last week after missing back to back games, but had Case Keenum as quarterback. Although he put up decent numbers, he may have a rough time against the Cleveland defense without his star rookie quarterback CJ Stroud who will most likely be out again this week.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Defense

Start: Cleveland Browns Defense

Might as well start all of Cleveland with the way they've been playing fantasy wise. They play the Houston Texans who seem to be without their young franchise quarterback, CJ Stroud. The Browns have a chance to terrorize Case Keenum and almost seal their Wild Card playoff spot.

Sit: Dallas Cowboys Defense

Going up against the speedy Miami Dolphins offense says it all. Especially after Dallas D took a beating from Buffalo in Week 15.

NFL Start Em Sit Em: Kickers

Start: Dallas Cowboys Brandon Aubrey

Cowboys rookie kicker Aubrey has been fantastic this year both on the field and in fantasy football. Even though he is coming off his worst game this past Sunday, we can assume he will be back scoring points regularly this week against the Dolphins.

Sit: Los Angeles Chargers Cameron Dicker

The Chargers offense is a mess without quarterback Justin Herbert. The Bills Defense is pretty good, so we don't think the Chargers will be scoring too often in this game.
