Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is unquestionably the greatest three-point shooter in NBA history, holding several records and revolutionizing the game with the long range shot.

The 35-year-old recently achieved a milestone by surpassing more than 3500 career three-pointers made in his career during a game against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, December 16.

With this accomplishment, he became the first player to reach this mark, further extending his lead as the league's all-time three-point leader.

Another three-point record that Curry has is the most games in a row with a three-point field goal made in the regular season, holding the top two spots in that category.

Longest three-point streaks in NBA history

1. Stephen Curry - 268 games (December 1, 2018 to December 16, 2023)

The only unanimous MVP in league history nearly doubled his previous record of 157 games by extending his streak of games with a three-point field goal made to 268 games.

This remarkable run spanned more than five years, from December 2018 to December 2023.

However, Curry's impressive streak came to an end on Sunday, December 17 against the Portland Trail Blazers. He went 0 for 8 from 3-point range and 2 for 12 from the field, scoring seven points in a forgettable evening.

Notably, his actual three-point streak actually ended at 233 games during Game 5 of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics on June 13, 2022.

Curry went 0 of 9 from beyond the arc and it was also the first time that the 2022 NBA Finals MVP failed to hit a three in a postseason game in his career.

The Warriors still took home the win, 104-94 to take a crucial 3-2 series lead while the former Davidson standout scored 16 points.

Despite that, postseason stats do not count in the regular season, enabling Curry's three-point streak to remain alive for more than a year.

2. Stephen Curry - 157 games (November 13, 2014 to November 3, 2016)

Curry also holds the second-longest streak for consecutive games with a made three-point shot, spanning nearly two years.

The streak concluded in November 2016 against the Los Angeles Lakers, where he struggled, going 0-of-10 from beyond the arc in a loss by 20 points.

However, Curry quickly rebounded in a big way during the following game at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.

During this remarkable performance, he set the then-NBA record for the most threes made in a game, nailing 13 three-pointers and scoring 46 points.

His teammate, Klay Thompson, has since surpassed that record by making 14 threes in a single game in 2018.

3. Kyle Korver - 127 games (November 4, 2012 to March 2, 2014)

Former sharpshooter Kyle Korver boasts the third-longest streak for consecutive games with a made three-point field goal.

This impressive run started from his second game with the Atlanta Hawks in 2012 until a random regular-season game over a year later.

In a particular game, Korver struggled from beyond the arc, going 0 for 5 on three-point attempts and 1 for 9 overall in 28 minutes.

The 2015 NBA All-Star broke the previous record of 89 games held by guard Dana Barros.
