Cowboys vs. Eagles Week 14: Odds, Spread, Betting Lines, Pick, and Preview

Upsets have been all over in the NFL. Will the same thing be seen in the Cowboys vs. Eagles Week 14 match-up?

The Dallas Cowboys (9-30) and the Philadelphia Eagles (10-20) first met in Week 9, wherein the latter came out triumphant.

The Cowboys are coming off an inspiring win over the Seattle Seahawks, while the Eagles had a different story. Coach Nick Sirianni's squad suffered an upset at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.

It is crunch time, and teams are scrambling to ensure themselves of a playoff spot. This Week 14 clash between the two is more important for the Cowboys than for the Eagles.

Cowboys vs. Eagles Week 14 Preview

The game being played at the AT&T Stadium is one of the more significant reasons the Cowboys have bookmakers leaning towards a win for them.

They have been stellar at home with a 6-0 record and 5-1 against the spread.

The win against the Seahawks in their last outing was their first test against a .500 team, and they are hoping they can carry the momentum when they face last season's Super Bowl finalist.

Injury report

The biggest news out of Dallas is on coach Mike McCarthy, who missed this week's practice due to abdominal pain. He was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. He is expected to be back by Sunday's game.

Regarding players, offensive tackles Tyron Smith and Matt Waletzko and guard Zack Martin are all still doubtful.

However, the Eagles have a thicker injury report.

Wide receiver Julio Jones (groin) and cornerback Darius Slay (knee) are still out.

There is some good news, though, as Zach Cunningham confirmed he will be available Sunday.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni is back in the drawing board as his team hopes to recover from last week's outing.

He is seeking more movement from his team.

"Sometimes the answer is to add this wrinkle or that wrinkle," Sirianni told reporters. "Against a team that [motions a lot] ... [the message] is just to make sure everybody is on the same page. I think that's where we just didn't do a good enough job of just making sure everyone was on the same page."

"We have to put the players in better positions to succeed. ... I just want to make sure everyone's clear on that when there is a mistake like that, that falls on the head coach ... that falls on me. And we'll be better from that."

Cowboys vs. Eagles Week 14 Pick

While the Cowboys are the favorites to win the match among bookmakers, the Eagles are too composed to lose two straight games.

The Cowboys are not yet in the same league as the Eagles and other legit title contenders.

Cowboys 21-35 Eagles.
